Scott Bucher joined the Carlsbad Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in 2015, then transferred to the Roswell SBDC. Scott brings 28 years of professional consulting experience in sales, sales management, entrepreneurial development, and diversified financial management including commercial and residential funding, insurance, investment banking, risk and asset management.
Scott loves helping business owners and entrepreneurs to grow, develop, and succeed in accomplishing their goals. He has successfully established and developed three successful ventures over 28 years, serving thousands of entrepreneurs and business owners; Scott understands the challenges owners face and gets tremendous satisfaction in helping them succeed.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico, and a Masters in Management/Strategic Consulting from American Military University. His four and a half years with the Tom Hopkins Sales/Management Training Organization and 23 years helping others succeed provides a tremendous resource to the Roswell SBDC.
Scott is active in his community and church activities, and loves cultural events, the great outdoors, and his family. He lives by the motto: “The only way to succeed in life is by helping others succeed in theirs.”
